lots of PB chitter back and forth between ALs andTARIANs recently
and its about job site "employee and employer rights freedoms and protections "
the sanctity of free will bargaining come up
but the context seems always about individual contracts not collective contracts
now a job site employee org migfht form a pact along the classic soidaritry lines of an injury to one is an injury to all and take collective actions to right individual wrongs
or lookng at the matter at hand
taking collective action to push thru a contract for one ...err all ...one by one
this suggests collective contracts
one big compound contract reduces "transaction" costs
surely the uses and abuses of collective action are well worth enumerating
but to hijack my own thought train
the bigger better bolder issue
is how the fuck do we get to the status at any job site where collective action is possible thru an overt stable sustainable employee created agency
and what self decided forms ought that collective agency strive to take
