i've decided not to call macro policy
social engineering any more
the word enginering has too much implicit prestige
it leads to ironic use
as intelligence does in the phrase
military intelligence
so from now on i'm using
simply
macro management
anyone that has ever managed anything
knows the limits of that term
now management science has its ironics eh ?
but at least there's no borrowed prestige
as in the word engineering
